I got assigned skeletons for slayer yesterday, so I decided to test out my absolute max hit. Here's what I came up with:
That's with the following bonuses:
- Super strength potion (to 98 strength at the time, I think)
- Salve amulet (e) = +20%
- Piety = +23%
Of course, I also had the usual strength boosting gear: rune defender, barrows gloves, neitiznot helm, and climbing boots. But yeah, I'm pretty amazed. I wasn't sure if I could hit that high in
any conditions. According to the
tip.it max hit calculator, my maximum with that setup should actually be 41, but I don't think I'll try for it. 40 is plenty for me. :P
And on my way back to Canifis to get another filler assignment, I found this:
I submitted a bug report; we'll see if they actually do anything about it. It's harmless enough to us players, but it kind of reflects badly on Jagex's quality control in my opinion.
